FarmVille is a real-time farm simulation game developed by Zynga, available as an application on the social-networking website Facebook and as an App on both the Apple iPhone and Android. A Jacksonville, Florida woman pled guilty to second-degree murder charges on Wednesday for allegedly shaking her three-month-old baby to death after the infant interrupted her FarmVille computer game. In the incident, which took place in January, Alexandra V. Tobias, 22, told officers that she became enraged after her babyDylan Lee Edmondson began to cry and interrupted the FarmVille game she was playing on Facebook. Friends play a big part in this game. You'll gain points by fertilizing their crops on a regular basis, be able to send them gifts that help improve their farm, and sometimes work together in co-op projects. FarmVille always lives up to its name as a social networking game. Friends share fuel, collectible items, gifts, and even merchandise in a "farmer's market."
A truly fun feature of FarmVille is a camera that lets you document the life of your farm as it progresses from tiny plot to super plantation. Over time, the objects you own will grow. Your tiny cottage might be replaced by a mansion - there's even a castle for folks that play in the big leagues of FarmVille. Animals include sheep, pigs, border collies, chinchillas, and all kinds of other neat animals that can be "harvested" for items like truffles, hair, or wool. Don't forget your chicken coop either. Those eggs come in handy.
